Benefit Letter for USCIS:

• This letter should serve as a presentation of how all your knowledge and experience are a necessity, benefit, and aid for the government and society of the United States. It should be written in simple terms so that it can be understood by anyone. If necessary, please explain (elaborate) on terms or concepts that are highly technical or specialized.

• It is very important to convey what inspired you to work in this field, and in each of these projects, and especially any projects that you see lacking implementation or improvement in the USA.

• In this letter, it is important to mention the Past: University Studies, Previous work experience, Present: Projects currently underway, Studies you are currently undertaking, and especially Future: This part is crucial as it will demonstrate how your knowledge will contribute significantly to future generations.

• If you have read research studies, government reports, and/or any external information that can help us verify and support that your experience is a great contribution to the United States, we appreciate it if you could send us the sources or website pages.

Recommendation Letters: The writer of the letter is suggested to include the resume or if there's a LinkedIn profile link or any digital medium to verify the applicant's profile, it would be very helpful. We have a letter template in English and Spanish, but the idea is for the letter to start with the writer's introduction (ideally including a resume), then an explanation of how they know the applicant and their opinion on their professional abilities and knowledge on the specific topic; and then close the letter with a conclusion recommending the person. There's no specific number of letters, but perhaps around 6.
